On Christmas 2023, my husband asked me what I wanted for Christmas – and I said I wanted to hold my PKU Magic book in my hands.
And so they surprised me. My sister-in-law, who is a graphic designer, quietly took all our recipes from the blog and put them in book form.
It was a family moment, a spontaneous surprise – and the first tangible proof that this dream could one day come true. So this draft version was for me for now. I wanted to know how many recipes we already had on the blog and see them all together.

After sharing the draft version on social media, I saw an incredible level of interest. Your messages, questions, and support moved me more than you can probably imagine. It was amazing to see that something which had originally been just my private dream could also mean something to you. At the same time, I knew that during that period I wasn’t able to give the book the priority it truly deserved.

It is now 2026 – and where are we today?
I’m no longer dreaming, I’m making it happen.
This cookbook is being created for you.
And this year, I will bring it to life.

The recipes are no longer simply collected from the blog as they were in the draft version.
Some have gone through significant revisions, others were created from scratch – and some haven’t even appeared on the blog yet.
Most of the recipes have already been professionally calculated and carefully organized.
Each recipe is reviewed, missing information is added, portions are adjusted, and the final details are refined.
We even have a new logo :)

Just a Dream
Every piece of information is created responsibly and in a controlled manner. Because I know that PKU is not just about taste. It is about safety. And that is why the cookbook is my priority today. I am working intensively on it - step by step, with respect for detail and for you. I want it to have the form that PKU Magic truly deserves.
Keep your fingers crossed that we can hold this final version in our hands before we see it.🤍

A dream is becoming reality.
Alongside the cookbook,
the PKU Magic visual identity
also evolved.
After years of recipes, calculations, revisions and detail-focused work,
the Slovak edition of the PKU Magic cookbook
Magic on the Plate
has officially been sent to print.
The first physical copies will arrive in June 2026 ✨
Following the Slovak launch events and distribution,
work on the English version will begin.
